Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are advised by Safaricom to embrace digital innovation as a major driver of quick company growth. As the global economy grows more digitally connected, experts forecast that platform-based, tech-enabled company models will create 70% of new value over the next ten years. In observance of this, Safaricom hosted the fourth “Grow with Safaricom
Business” forum on Wednesday. In order to empower MSMEs in the Coast region, this program covered the topic of scaling via technology.Despite their importance to the economy, MSMEs continue to confront substantial growth impediments, such as a lack of awareness and the rapid advancement of technology. According to Cynthia Kropac.
Safaricom’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer, MSMEs confront various hurdles, including a lack of knowledge and difficulty keeping up with rapid technological changes. Launched in March, the “Grow with Safaricom Business” series provides monthly seminars to assist MSMEs in improving their operational abilities and developing creative business solutions. It also provides a venue for business owners to network with their colleagues, executives, and potential partnership.
