This move came after the National government through the Ministry of Interior and National Administration ordered for immediate formation of inclusive multisectoral coordination and collaboration forums at county and sub-county levels to mitigate the unique challenges that the country was currently facing in matters of peace and security, conflicts and National cohesion.
The government had said these forums aims at fostering dialogue and collaboration among different sectors, identifying potential sources of conflicts, addressing grievances, and working towards resolving disputes before they escalate into violence. Enhance communication and information sharing between security agencies and the public. Help in building trust and social cohesion amongst state actors and members of the society. Facilitate the development of comprehensive and sustainable solutions to complex challenges facing the country by leveraging the expertise and resources of different sectors.
