Sakawa Agencies company Ltd has handed over plastic chairs, cooking tools and equipments,tables,and a newly builds temporary structure to a woman who served lunch to CS Moses Kuria during his tour at Dongo Kundu bypass where he announced the commencement of construction Works of Taifa gas project.

Mwaka Bora is a member of Tumejikaza Visele Women group that operates food kiosks at Dongo kundu area in Likoni, Mombasa.

This came barely three days after a video of her went viral showing her cooking chapati for the CS using traditional figures while seated on the ground.CS Kuria is at some point heard saying ” hii chapati ni tamu sana”.

The CS later gifted her a cooking gase and some money to uplift her business.

Sakawa agencies Ltd, is a construction company owned by Mr. Evans Momanyi with its offices at NSSF Buildings along Nkuruma Road, Mombasa.

During his visit to the Dongo kundu special Economic zone on Wednesday last week, the cabinet secretary for trade announced immediate commencement of construction works of the 30,000 metric tonnes storage facility which was launched on February 25,this year, by president William Ruto.

Ruto said this project was a bilateral trade deal between Kenya and Tanzania and was aiming to benefit over 90,000 Kenyans.

Kuria in his speech urged residents to organize and prepare themselves as the construction activities will be carried out by residents of the area in a bid to empower them economically and direct corporate social responsibility (CDR).

During the launch of the about 16 billion shillings project, the head of state said that he aims to ensure all Kenyan households have LPG cylinders by 2025 as the country strives to fully go green by 2030 as had been announced by former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
