A man who threw her two-month-old baby occasioning her actual bodily harm, following an argument with his wife over her night calls from people not known by hasband has been charged.

Hesbone Otieno Aloo who appeared before Mombasa senior resident magistrate, Rita Orora, pleaded guilty to charges against him for the offense of subjecting a child to cruel treatment contrary to section 18(1)as read with section 20 of the children’s Act number 8 of 2001.

Aloo is also facing two more counts namely; stepping on the head of his 3-year-old minor and that of causing disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace after he fought and chased people from the house of one, Jane Auma Odoyo.

The particulars of the offenses being that on January 1 this year, at Mwenza area Mtongwe location within Mombasa county, Hesbone Otieno Aloo subjected his two minors to cruel treatment by grabbing and throwing away his 2-month-Old Helen Mariam and stepping on the head of 3-year-old Mwanahamisi Mashanzu.

He is also facing additional charges for the offense of causing disturbance in a manner likely to breach of the peace after he on the same day allegedly fought and chased people from the house of Jane Auma Odoyo.

The case will be mentioned tommorow for sentencing
