Residents of Mwembe tayari area in Mombasa were today morning left in shock after a man identified as Samson Koome, stabbed his wife to death following a misunderstanding over undisclosed matter.

According to the area chief, Mohamed Musa, Koome and his wife, Carolyne Kajeri, have been engaging in regular conflicts over undisclosed issues.

Police reports seen by Alshifaa tv indicates that the deceased’s body was moved to the coast general hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem while the suspect, Samson Koome, arrested and placed in police custody waiting to be arraigned in court and charged for murder.

The murder weapon was also recovered from the scene.
